Anything But Moody in Back Bay
Waltham’s acclaimed Moody’s Delicatessen is layering on the pastrami at its newest location in Back Bay and its award-winning chef is hinting at more to come. Located in Copley Square, Moody’s is breaking the mold with a new selection of grab-and-go options alongside wood-fired pizzas and much more.
Waltham’s acclaimed Moody’s Delicatessen is taking on the big city with its recent move to Copley Square. In addition to the corned beef, cured meats, and charcuterie flavors that have helped create a following for Moody’s in Waltham, the deli is expanding its offerings to capture the diverse tastes and wants of its new neighborhood – pleasing residents and office lunch-breakers alike. Alongside the deli’s cornerstone Pastrami on Rye, Moody’s Back Bay will offer a selection of wood-fired pizzas, grain bowls, breakfast plates, and grab-and-go options.
Owner and Eater Boston’s ‘2014 Chef of the Year’, Joshua Smith, has hinted that there’s more to come at the location where the potential to grow its footprint might include options similar to the Waltham location’s Backroom, a full service dining room where wine and craft beer mix with small plates and entrees. Next popular Back Bay brunch spot, anyone? For now, pile on the pastrami and dig in!
