Rising News

With 200+/- construction workers on-site daily, a flurry of activity is taking place. The frame of the building’s base is now complete, the 10th slab has been poured, and the first windows were installed last week. A unique part of the project's construction is that the skin follows the concrete frame as it rises. The building is now set to rapidly rise a floor and half each week, and will emerge on the Boston skyline by this fall.

SECURITY
To ensure that we will have the best
security systems and training of any
residential building in Boston,
we have engaged as our security
consultant Mark Sullivan, the
former Director of the
United States Secret Service.
Our security is designed
to be unobtrusive but extremely
effective and sophisticated.

TECHNOLOGY
One Dalton will provide incomparable
internet access (with ultra-high-speed
2 gigabit connectivity), which will be
the fastest residential internet capability
in Boston. Super-fast elevators will
whisk residents to their residences
at 1,400 feet per minute.

CONDOMINIUM SALES
Sales continue at a rapid clip,
and a second of our three penthouses
is now under agreement to a
world-renown high tech businessman
and his family. His investment, and
that of many others, confirms that
the most sophisticated and prestigious
buyers are investing in One Dalton.

We are proud of the accomplishments and excellence of One Dalton as it changes Boston and the Back Bay.

HENRY N. COBB

“Henry N. Cobb embodies that combination of capability and conviction – artistic, intellectual, practical, and civic – that defines the ideal architect.”

President's Medal Citation, Architectural League of New York, May 4, 2015

“Rising at the western terminus of Boston’s High Spine, One Dalton occupies an exceptionally privileged position within a quiet residential neighborhood. It’s slender, gently-curved tower form thus bears vivid witness to Boston’s 21st century vitality as one of the world’s most livable cities; a city proudly celebrating its past as it boldly embraces its future.”

- Henry N. Cobb

Perhaps there is no better architect than Henry N. Cobb to design One Dalton, a building that reveres the history and heritage of the past as much as it heralds the direction of the future.
